Some companies have a wildly successful framework for emerging talent brand and programs. Others have the enthusiasm but not the resources, tools, or teams - until suddenly they do, and now where do you start? In environments such as these, the job is to overhaul and reconstruct (no big deal, right?). This presentation will review the strategies and processes involved in transforming the pieces of an emerging talent brand into a full-fledged workforce program, using the newly reorganized Emerging Talent Program at Generac Power Systems as our roadmap.
Campus recruiting has its own unique challenges - from high-volume hiring sprints to event management and intense competition. Despite these challenges, many teams are expected to get results using tools and processes that weren't designed for early talent hiring. The result? Slower processes, missed connections, and a harder time proving the business impact of your efforts.
In this session, campus recruiting professionals from companies of different sizes will share how they’ve evolved their strategies to meet today’s challenges. Through practical examples, we’ll explore what’s working (and what’s not) when it comes to planning events, tracking performance, engaging candidates, and building an early career program that delivers measurable business results.
Whether you’re running a small team or overseeing a large-scale program - or something in between - you’ll walk away with concrete ideas to improve your event outcomes and candidate experience. We’ll also talk about how to get the most out of your tech stack for maximum return on investment.
