The Challenge of Coding Challenges

40% of women feel unprepared for coding and technical challenges and this level of unpreparedness will leave them feeling like they aren’t ‘good enough’ to even start the assessment. A group of current students discussed the barriers to entry for completing a coding challenge or technical assessment and ways to make sure that diverse candidates feel set up for success. This presentation also shared key data from the RTC Recruiting Experiences Survey (2023) to augment the panelists’ experiences.
