Moderator Highlights

• Goal was to get more diverse talent into their CFP (Certified Financial Planner) positions
• Offered a 2-year scholarship to 2nd year students at $10k per year, plus a guaranteed internship
• Decided on this amount after several interviews with underrepresented groups, most stating that $10k would make the biggest difference to their education
• Schwab does not select the students, the university manages the process
• Has deepened relationships with students, faculty and staff at target schools
